sorry I don't know if it's appropriate I just have a extra Google Voice invite I am not going to use so if some body want's it reply and pm with your email address so I can forward it. 1st to do so can have it and no I am not asking for money for it. it's waiting ready to go. of course I listed this in the hack section since you must be Jailbroken and have or get GV mobile from Cydia

Google Voice Invite Request

I know that for GV you need someone to invite you until it's released to the public. I was wondering if anyone here has an invite they could pass my way. I got GV from Cydia today and I'm itching to try it out. If someone could hook me up, I'd be very grateful!

I sent in my request a couple of weeks ago. I got invited a few days ago.

It takes about a week to get your invite.

I got mine in about 12hrs.

I received an invite and tried to use it but they didn't have any 212 area code numbers so never set it up. I'll see if I have any invites now.

As far as I can tell you sign up for an invite yourself. Users cannot send you an invite like they could with gmail. You sign up and I bet you'll get an invite as I got mine in a matter of days.

On the Google Voice page (Google's page) you can get an invite from Google themselves. I don't think they do invites from peer-to-peer anymore.
