Google vs Verizon trade in

IMHO Google trade in is better because you get the whole amount off at once and not over time.
Unless you like VZW and plan to stay with them for 36 months then it will not affect you at all. But if yoiu choose to upgrade that phone line then you will have to wait for 36 months to do so.

But even beyond the carrier, like you said, you are tied to that device for 36 mos or you lose the credits. Since it's nearly always better to pay it off and sell/trade it vs just trading it after paying 50%.
Which is best can depend on what you are trading.
Also, are you looking to do a non-promotional Verizon trade or going with one of their (inflated) trade in promotions?
$380 matches Apple's trade value for a 13 mini.
Does the $580 Google offer factor in the $200 gift card (assuming you are looking to go with a Pixel 7 Pro)?
Verizon is therefore offering $420 (no term/plan requiremsents, I assume) but no gift card? Is the $466 you owe to Verizon?
It sounds like the trade offers are similar but you'd be losing out on the $200 gift card if you go through Verizon. I still don't know all of the details here but you may be better off going with Google or Best Buy and simply continue to pay off the 13 mini (balance) as you have been. That is assuming you find value in either of the gift cards which would be limited to Best Buy or the Google Store. Amazon is also offering similar deals/gift cards as well but I'm not sure what their trade offer would be.

As long as you have cash on hand to pay the $466 you will come out $114 ahead with the Google deal instead of down $46. $160 better for Google deal
