Google's free DNS service

    Today Google, made available they're own free DNS service which Iv e been using for a while and its blazingly fast !

    What do you think ?

    I am about to start using it once I can swap out my AEBS.

    I read this, looked into it, and thought, "yeah, maybe..." I mean, how much could being assimilated really hurt?

    Seriously, though, I use OpenDNS on almost all the networks I maintain... it saves me a lot of time, and is also very fast, one could even say it's snappy.

    Until the Goog adds in some admin functions, a la OpenDNS, no, I won't switch.

    I too use Open DNS but it is good to know of an alternative like Google.

    Interesting comments, I'm just a basic user, its nice to have an admin's perspective ;)

    Google v. OpenDNS

    I use OpenDNS - far better than the Virgin Media DNS. Might give Google DNS a try.
