Yes, easily possible, but you WILL want to invest in an SD card to lighting adapter. The transfer rate and speed via wi-if is quite unreliable

Btw microsd > sdcard > lightning

That would be over USB 2 speed. If you want USB 3 transport speed it has to be iPP 12".

I've done it on a 6s plus while on vacation and found the wifi speeds acceptable. I don't have an empirical number to quantify the speed but I wasn't complaining.

Was that 4K 60fps over wifi using the GoPro app? I thought it wouldn't let you transfer that large of file via the app?

USB 2.0 has a theoretical speed of 60MB/s (480Mb/s).

Ah, crap. Not sure. It was a combination of video clips (not sure what quality I was recording) and 600+ pictures.
