GoPro iPhone app - latest update - issue (with iPhone 6)

So I just installed the latest iPhone app update on my iPhone 6.
It is mentioned in the change log that the latency was improved.
There's an issue now. The live view/record screen on the iPhone shows jerky motion now. That has never been an issue with previous app versions. This is very disappointing.
Does anyone else have the same issue?

- I tried to delete and reinstall the GoPro app
- I tried rebooting my iPhone
- latest version is installed on my GoPro (v03.00)

Does anyone here own an iPhone 6 and a GoPro Hero 3+ ?

I have a hero 4 silver and I haven't had any issues

If I play a clip, everything looks smooth.
Only the live view/record screen is jerky...weird.

Yesterday GoPro released another new update (v.2.7.1). Unfortunately it didn't fix the issue. Live view before/during recording is still jerky on my iPhone 6. This is so annoying.
