just got this today and so far even tho my mac pro is on the floor
the cord was long enough and confortable to connect
didnt even know that it had speakers with the monitor
atleast i dont have to strain to hear the speakrs from mac pro on floor now.

Its huge. I had a samsung lcd before which was ok but i do some video editing n photoshop and that matte screen was just washed out and old looking.
I dont have an glare since my space has no windows around it and its my media room.

I put a dual monitor wallpaper on it n it looks sweet.
Had to increase the desktop icon size and dock a bit since they were tiny
I wanted this one since it had built in isight mic and speakers built in so less cables for those and more desk space
plus the cord length was perfect n didnt have to move the mac pro on the table and its left where it is on the floor

    I'm hunting for a screen
and since I have 27" imac i don't know if I want that screen or not
    why
because matching screen to prints was an issue on my iMac
I have no problem with my 24"dell, but is a bit too small
I like the speakers, mic and isight
but I don't know if this will work for my photo work
    I'm so lost :(

I work in the printing industry, and generally glossy screens tend to exaggerate the contrast of your image so it makes it hard to impossible to edit photos on a glossy screen. Also LED light sources do not offer as wide of a color gamut as CCFL displays. For photo editing it's best to stick with Eizo, NEC or if your on a tight budget there are some good HP and Dell IPS panels out there.

    Thank you
Looking at Lacie, Eizo and NEC and the 27" was a wild card
I still may get it for camera and mic and speakers until new Eizo and NEC will be out in late may early june
