Got a couple of quick questions about upgrading.

1. If my contract ends at December 2011, is it possible to get the new iPhone on the "early upgrade" offer?

2. Will I still have my 3GS handset as well after the upgrade to sell? Or do they take your old phone?

Not sure, but my guess is yes you can upgrade early, but you will have to renew your 2 year contract. The no commitment price is if you don't want to sign another 2 year contract.

You keep your old 3GS, and you can sell it on eBay or keep it as a paperweight

You keep the 3Gs...sell it on eBay to offset some of the upgrading cost.

Ok thanks guys, $399 isn't too bad, and I can probably get £200 for my iPhone here in England, just gotta wait for o2 to annouce prices
