About 3 1/2 years ago I saw where someone I knew was selling a iphone 5C for $200. I bought it and used it till I upgraded to an iphone rose gold se. Still have the 5C as it is now my grandson's tablet so to speak. I got a message this morning from her.

"Would you be interested in upgrading to a 6s plus 16 gigs. I had to grin as that would not be an upgrade for someone who has an iphone X.

I told her that I got an iphone x for Christmas last year. She said Wow! how nice.

I did see that Verizon still sells iphone 6s for $22.91 a month for 2 years. Seems so outdated to me and that people would pay this and sign a 2 year contract.

Verizon and other carriers provide the option to finance the cost of the device over 24 months. Apple also still sells the iPhone 6s Plus for $549 on their website. I wouldn’t want to pay that much for a 6s either though.

Usually you can find deals from bestbuy.com if you’re looking at paying a monthly cost for iPhones. I believe around Black Friday or Christmas you can get some pretty good deals. I remember one year they offered the latest iPhone on a device payment plan for $9.99.

Unless pre-ordering for delivery on release day I wouldn’t pay full price for an iPhone with the discounts offered at bestbuy or even from the carrier itself.

She is selling it for $200. Still seems kinda high for such an old phone and I suspect a bad battery with all the hoopla with Apple batteries.

I chose apple instead of Verizon for my iphone x during launch because of apple care.

You can buy a phone from Verizon and add AppleCare after the fact

Not a bad price even for $250, assuming all the parts like the display are still original.

$29 for a battery replacement. No known issues with the 6s Plus.

It a heck of a lot better than an SE at $349.
