Got a new iphone - do what?

okay, so i just traded a friend my old black 16gb iphone for the white 16gb
now, this is the 2nd day, brightness low, location services off, 3g off, and push is off, and my battery barley lasts me a day or so!

am i right in saying that i should take it to the apple store and ask for a replacement?

I would try. As long as you have a sim card in the phone, they will service it. What kind of battery life did you get with your other 3G? and How old is the white one?

They should replace it. It won't hurt to try, since you are still in warranty.

old iphone - ever 2nd day
this one - every day at 4-5pm its dead or about to die.

when i enter the serial number on the apple site, it says the warranty expires 2010, but the phone can be serviced till june 2009 - what does that mean?

i am going to the apple store tomorrow, and do have my rogers sim card inside

You can still have the iPhone swapped out until next month. You need to make a genius appointment.

well it is vibrating different from my other one haha!!

if u toggle the on/off - vibration button, it sounds like a motor trying to start but not starting all the way haha. it even sounds like something is rattling inside lol

That is definitely not normal. My is black, and it never sounds like an engine lol. I'm sure once they hear that, they will just hand you a new phone on the spot. 🙂
