Today i got a used 17" macbook pro mid 2009, i had the change the bottom apiece for some reason now my mouse pad is acting crazy, like if i want to click the apple logo it'll go somewhere else. It was fine earlier like 2 hours ago and now its weird.

Is it possible that the battery is slightly swollen and pressing against the trackpad?

Tried an smc and pram reset?

I’ve tried the preset still the same.
I had to replace th ebottom piece of the body. Not the inside just the aliumuum piece. I had Apple do it but could that be it?
I’ll try pressing the track pad and see
[doublepost=1506997002][/doublepost]No. The battery isn’t swelling up.

How would I know if the battery is swelling up?
[doublepost=1506997432][/doublepost]Ok after restarting and pressing the track pad hard around its kinda normal now, I'm going to bring it in tomorrow still to make sure everything is ok lol

Remove the battery and see if it feels any different when pressing the trackpad. If it does, it could be that the battery is not sitting properly against the trackpad. Also check around the trackpad to make sure everything is properly attached.

I think the centre screw in the trackpad can be turned to adjust its "click ability".

I don’t have the tools to open the bottom lol. I’m gonna jus have to take it in to the store I got it from and ask them

Many people don't have the tools to remove the bottom cover or tri-wing to remove the battery but I highly recommend getting the Phillips and tri-wing from eBay. They are cheap and could come in very handy.
