That's very cool. This, plus the sanded down stainless steel mod that a member on here did a while back would look pretty awesome.

Part of the reason the white iPhone was delayed.
Light bleed from the flash. The black paint kept the flash from bleeding over to the lens.

No it is a cover you can make yourself with a bit of time and patience.

that clear case can be bought from a website ... wefixmac.com but its ALWAYS out of stock, and i didnt really want to pay £28 for a rear cover.

I would like to see this sanded down frame work!! does it effect the signal?

Correct but i never. And the glass isn't $80, I can pick them up for around £3
