ended up with this ...

but put a apple sticker on the inside of the case, but think am going to take it out and just keep the clear look 😀

That's very cool. This, plus the sanded down stainless steel mod that a member on here did a while back would look pretty awesome.
 
Looks cool, but don't take any pictures with your flash turned on.
Part of the reason the white iPhone was delayed.
Light bleed from the flash. The black paint kept the flash from bleeding over to the lens.

Would probably be best to leave the lens/LED section untouched.
 
Do you guys remember how a few years ago it was really popular to come out with "clear" products? Mostly a marketing gimmick that lasted but a few months, there were all kinds of products including clear beer....Sorry OP, not trying to change the topic.

yeah am going to take it apart again soon and get rid of the sticker!

that clear case can be bought from a website ... wefixmac.com but its ALWAYS out of stock, and i didnt really want to pay £28 for a rear cover.

I would like to see this sanded down frame work!! does it effect the signal?
