organic whore whole milk = yummie :)

oh... cream top is pretty awesome too.

Any milk is fine, as long as it has some instant coffee (dissolved in a drop of hot water) and a couple of table spoons of this for every half litre:

Pure milk is vile...

We usually buy the 2% or Fat Free milk here. I drink Cafe con Leche (milk with Folger's instant coffee) in the morning, for breakfast before going to school (or just when I wake up on weekends) and then in the afternoon when I am back from school (or just around 2-3PM on weekends).

But yeah twice per day every day :D I like milk!

You left out Cream and Half-and-half - the only possible choices for my coffee.

But, for cereal and what-not, I say whole.

Where can I find this whore milk?

Try the movie Shoot 'Em Up, wherein the lovely Monica Belucci portrays a lactating hooker whose clientele want to be treated like babies. And that's the most believable plot point[s;)] in the entire film.:D

Interesting ... thanks for the tip ;)

Whole, I can't seem to be able to have anything else.

By the way, does anybody still get their milk from a milkman? I have a feeling Denver is the only city that still does that. The milk at the market is terrible and not cold enough!

Two people in our building get milk delivered, I think daily. The milkman is really quiet too, I wish the neighbours would shut the door as quietly as he does in the mornings.

The fact that "Chocolate" is on par with "2% Semi Skimmed" has to show we either have:

Alot of grown adults heavily reminiscing about their past

or

Worse... ACTUAL CHILDREN, OF THE SCREAMING AND BREAKING THINGS VARIETY

I've already begun boarding up my screen, they might come through the internet tubes

I'm quite bored...

Do a google search for "soy" and "estrogen" - and then decide if this is something you really want to be putting in your body.
As with everything, there are pros and cons to every food. I'm not replacing everything dairy and meat in my diet with soy products, I'm adding a small amount of soy to my diet and replacing a similar amount of milk.

Most studies I've seen show that soy in moderation is highly unlikely to cause any health problems in otherwise healthy adults (for example, I don't have an iodine deficiency), while potentially providing significant health benefits.

I'm not sold either way, but I'll continue to do additional research. I agree with the point that we have to be careful about what we're eating, and at this point I wouldn't give my children large amounts of soy as most indicators are that it's not good for them.

But that could change next week. ;)

As for Raw Milk, certainly there appears to be some interesting research pointing to the health benefits of raw milk. Unfortunately, it's illegal to purchase or sell in Illinois, so you need to join a farmers co-op and arrange to get it that way. It's also prohibitively expensive right now.

I especially like a big glass of semi-skimmed (2%?) when I come in from the gym or from a run. V tasty... and, I read somewhere, better than those isotonic glow-in-the-dark drinks for replenishing the body.

i used to drink 1/2 gallon (≈ 1.9 L) of organic whole milk everyday. not only i found that my bod seemed to recover faster, i also felt greater strength when i was lifting. for post-training; however, i believe that you'd need low-fat chocolate milk due to its near ideal protein-carb ratio and simple carbs.
