Got my 42mm SS Today

I preordered my 42mm sport on April 10th and received it on launch day. Last week I was at the Apple Store buying a 42mm black sports band and was telling him how I wish I went with the SS, he let me return my Sport for a full refund and he ordered my new 42mm SS with white band. It shipped 2 days later on Thursday for delivery Friday but UPS miss sorted it which made me wait for today.

I LOVE IT, MUCH NICER THAN MY SPORT BY FAR!! And now I have a black band to go with my white one.
 
Congratulations! I think there are pros/cons to both watches. However, I'm glad you have exactly what you want now. Now you can enjoy it without regret!

You won't believe how fast and easy it is to buff out any imperfections it picks up. I was amazed at how quickly I brought mine back to like-new condition after picking up a few scuffs. About two minutes with Mother's Polish and a rag. It's worth the extra to me.

It's funny because I loved my sport but good lord this thing is beautiful, and the shine it has is so upscale looking to me.

It's perfect, no regrets now :)

I just put the cloth on my finger, dipped into the canister and started rubbing all over. I didn't worry about getting it on the screen. I saw some others commenting about taping off the screen and I thought that was ridiculous. I got the polish on all the edges and it didn't make any difference. Of course, I wasn't intentionally buffing the glass either.
 
This was my obervation, I had the Sport a week earlier for a month, so I am actually able to form my own judgement without an article telling me lol. I can tell a pretty big difference.

And that's part of the reason why Apple chose to stay with the ion glass screens for the Sport. A lot of people buying it would be using it outdoors so made the most sense. I saw so many people complain about Apple not giving the Sport a sapphire screen but I had read about the difference in screens and understood why. Ion-x glass is essentially Gorilla glass (trademarked by Corning) and used in the majority of sport watches out there so is well known for its properties.

OP how are you finding the difference in weight?

Its funny, some people have complained about the weight difference between the 2, I actually do not find this one to feel any different on my wrist than my Sport did. It does not seem heavy to me at all, Once I put it on, I do not even feel it there which is nice.

Just curious- do you prefer the white or black sport band? I also have both and trying to decide. Casual business dress for office work most of the day here.
 
Congratulations! I got a 42SS with a blue leather loop yesterday as well! I bought my wife a 38SS with a pink leather band last week and she liked it so much, leaving my curiosity no other chance...

The real reason was, of course, the ability to send those heartbeats, but. I would never admit it in public. ;)

I wear the white on weekends and the black one typically at the office, but both look sexy

Yeah, I also ordered the sport and received it launch day but sold it a few weeks later and got the stainless model. No regrets and I much prefer the stainless look as well as the stronger sapphire glass.

Got her and myself the white sport bands as well, - I like the looks and that indefinite rubber quality feel: neither too hard nor too soft. Nevertheless, the look of a leather loop with a SS watch is unmatched.

Only thing is my OCD kicks in with this one a lot more lol, On my Sport I used to wipe the screen a lot but now I wipe the Stainless Steel Case a lot on this all the time to now. Cant have a smudged watch haha
