Well I got my first dent. It’s small and hard to see but it’s there.

I guess that’s just how it goes sometimes.

Man I'm right there with you. I've got a few very similar nicks on the edges of my machine as well. These newer Macs like to get scratched. Kinda crazy how easy it is to mess them up. Oh well, nothing in life is perfect.

Is that the 2019 15” model listed in your sig?
if so then don’t worry as when you take it in for keyboard issues then they‘ll give you a new topcase.

might as well give that to good will. Give it a loving home. I couldn't deal with that dent at all. Id cry every night

I dropped my MBP yesterday too :(
It was in a Twelve South BookBook but still got a few marks on the lid, no real damage but I'm looking at skins now to cover up the damage.

The whole reason to get the silver, dents and scratches are far less noticable.

Just think of it as a form of personalisation.

'This is my macbook pro. There are many like it but this one is mine.' ;)

Mine (2015 model) has tiny dents all over the case and some scratches too. Just shows the world that your computer has been places.
