Got My First Job

5 dollars a day??? Not per hour, but a day? Thats not even gas money.

Yep, $5/day. But I loved it. Got to sail every day, and like I said, I had the best tan in school.

My first job was last summer as a cashier/bagger at a grocery store, still applying for jobs this summer.

I really didn't do too much. I was the only person applying for the job. During the interview, I just kept in mid some of the things that my teacher told me, such as maintaining eye contact and trying to be as polite as possible.

What I handed in to him was my most recent report card and resume.

My "advice" to other teens would probably be to ask around. I would be stuck working at Six Flags if I hadn't of asked my mom lol.

Don't try to BS anyone with things you don't know. Ask questions if you don't understand. Don't check your email or take personal calls while working.

My first job was daily paperboy at age 12. It was very valuable business training.
