Got my iPad 2 today!

Well, after thinking about it for a while, I finally got my iPad 2 today. I was going to wait for the next one with retina display to come out, but, oh well! Luckily, my iPad had 4.3.3 installed so I immediately jailbroke it! :) I have got to have apps like sbsettings, Activator, FolderEnhancer, Swithermod, etc. Anyway, I'm using it! :)
 
Congrats! I'm really close to pulling the trigger on one as well. I was thinking of waiting for the next release as well with a retina display but there will always be something better lurking around the corner. I'm thinking come payday I'll pick one up!
 
Congrats, enjoy it. Get some accessories and keep it in top notch condition for maximum resale value prior to iPad 3 release and only pay a little bit to get the latest and greatest. :D
 
Wow you are so lucky to get that version. I want to buy one but i'm afraid I would get one with 4.3.5 installed...
 
Congrats on joining the iPad family :) Now it's time to kick *** with that iPad and download some sweet apps!
 
I thought about waiting but I'm pretty sure I'm going to be pulling the trigger this week as well. Even if the next revision has a retina display/faster processor etc., this will satisfy my modest needs well enough I think. Plus next April (international launch) is still 8 months away and it's not the easiest thing to get one immediately after launch.

Nice job. We pulled the trigger last week after waiting awhile to hear about the iPad 3. To be honest, I'm glad we did because we use it every day and the screen is more than sufficient for our daily needs.

Ours has 4.3.5 though. :( Oh well, we still love it!
 
Thank you all! I am really enjoying it a lot. My poor iPhone And MBP have just been sitting idle since yesterday.
 
Hope you enjoy it as much as I do mine!!! Get some apps downloaded and open it up to it's full potential. Had mine a month and still can't put it down....
 
So far I'm doing good with waiting for the ipad3 as the iP4 retina display has me spoiled. I will be using the ipad for mostly video watching and photo viewing....I'm good for now, I surely can wait...

Initially, that's what I thought also but once I played with one, I was ok with the display! It's not retina but it's not bad either!
 
I also got one today after thinking about it for quite some time. I had a first gen iPad and sold it quite a while ago. Haven't opened it yet, I'm at work. My computer room is upstairs and sometimes I would like to check/reply to email or browse the web without trekking upstairs. I have a Galaxy S 4G phone but an iPad will be much more pleasant to use due to its size.
 
Just bought mine a few days ago love it!! I got a orange smart cover with mine. But I got 4.3.5 :(
