My reception has decreased by 2 bars
anyone having worse reception on the iPhone 4

Did you get the Invisible Shield that covers the sides too? That's the one I ordered because it comes in individual pieces instead of that awful wrap around design that the 3G had. I figured worst-case scenario, I just won't use the side pieces if they look like ass.

And yes, 2 out of 2 calls so far have dropped. However, I think it's still too early to judge though -- once I use it for a week or so I'll have a better perspective as to wether there has been a notable reduction in call quality.

No, i bought the Full Body

There are two full body options for the same price: Full Body Easy Install which is just the front and back and Full Body Maximum Coverage which is front, back and individual stripes for the sides. I'm assuming you just ordered the Easy Install version?

How bad is it contorting the display? That orange peel effect can screw up the pixels pretty bad.

Hey RonHC, how long did it take for your invisible shield to deliver? Assuming you bought it online.

I ordered 6 days ago -- got a confirmation email that says "you cannot track this order" and no sign yet.

I ordered it on the 11th so it took 12 days for it to get here, i believe it was on hold but IDK

I decided not to apply it on the front screen since of what you said, and yes i got the easy install, im getting a Bumper so i wouldnt need the full coverage

Hey all, just received my new phone about an hour ago and have a dumb question.

Does anyone know of a thread that talks about the steps to follow to migrate from a 3G to the iPhone 4? This is the first time for me to have to do this.

I am kinda paralyzed on what all I should and what order to do it in. The farthest I've gotten so far is unboxing the new phone and starting a charge on it.

Any direct help or direction to an appropriate thread that covers this would be greatly appreciated. I did try a search but didn't turn up anything.

Thanks.
Read the paper work that came with your new phone all you have to do is connect it to iTunes but it would be wise to backup the old one first.. that is it. ATT will be alerted automatically ...

I think I'm going to try it and I'll just take it off if it looks awful. They're actually pretty easy to remove. I'm probably going to bumper as well but I need to wait for the madness to subside before I go anywhere near an Apple store. Either that or wait for the inevitable knock-offs which should do the trick just great!

I don't see why people want to skin the sides. It's stainless steel.

I feel the front and back glass is all you need. I'm going to try and get a Zagg at Best Buy soon. Hopefully they're not all gone.

exactly what i thought

What is the difference in the "easy" install version over the regular?

"Easy Install" is just face and back, "Maximum Coverage" is the same price but also includes protection for the sides. There's also a cheaper version that just covers the front.

Is there a return policy for the Zagg at Best Buy if you open and install it?

Can I have it on for like a week, say it sucks and bring it back for a refund/store credit?

Well they would need to be able to resell it so that would be a big no. that would be like buying a banana from the grocery store, eating it, then taking the peel back a few days later for a refund. :p
