Got my iPhone 6 case today...I wish I ordered the 6 Plus

There have been a few threads that contain links to certain life-size cut-outs of the Plus, should have checked that out first!

Exactly what I did and is what started me thinking about the 6plus. Glad I did it...I think lol

The thing the cardboard cutouts do not do for you is the weight. That weight listed for the iPhone 6+ is not unsubstantial compared to Samsung's phones. One handed operation may get tiresome due to its extra weight. The 6 however, is lighter than those of its class.

the only worthwhile representation is a 3D printed mockup with exact dimensions and weight. i find it lulzy there is buyer's remorse and they don't even own the phone.

Those who preordered the iPhone 6 without doing their research will get burned just like the 6 Plus owners who did likewise. Goes both ways.

It's not really a secret that it isn't much bigger and http://www.apple.com/iphone-6/display/ allows you to compare the size between models.

If anything, it's actually a good thing that it's hardly any wider because we'll be able to handle it as we've always done.

Perfect picture for those that say PLUS owners will look ridiculous talking on our phones.

If two people were walking towards you, one on a 6 and one on a 6+, you'd barely notice a difference let alone think the extra 20mm looks "ridiculous".

That's actually a 5s case inside a 6 case. I don't agree people will look ridiculous holding a 6+ to their ear. Whether it's manageable to use one-handed while your other hand is being occupied (while shopping, at the airport, etc.) is another story.

When I put the cutouts in my hand, it sealed the deal: 6+ for me.

Got my leather case today too and I'm more comfortable now with having ordered the 6+.
If I was gonna make a change, going to the 6+ was the way for me. I originally had no intention of getting the larger one until I did the whole cut outs thing then I suddenly thought that the 6+ wasn't that bad at all and the way to go. For me anyways.

I live in Alaska and can tell you there is no way he would get the plus in a store, unless he was waiting in the line right now. I preordered the plus and got a 9/19 delivery date.

These are all good points. I guess I'm in the minority of folks who ordered the 6, but I still don't want a 6 Plus, even after seeing all the pictures.

Another thing I wonder: since both phones have the same hardware, yet the Plus has a larger screen and has to drive a higher-resolution/more pixels, is it safe to assume that the 6 may perform a little better given the smaller screen/lower resolution?

nah i'm in the same boat. I owned a g3 and hated the size for portability. Absolutely awful and unnecessary, but lesson learned. Went for the 6 myself
