Got my iPhone 7+ case today

I've seen this exact discoloration on a few while browsing craigslist or eBay. I believe it is caused by that spot being exposed to the dirt and oil from your hands and the rest of the world.

I always put a MediaDevil rear protector on my phones for this very reason.

I wonder is this will fit under my case. I found these rubber cases get sand/dirt/grit under them and they rub on the back and cause little tiny scratches. Hurts my resale value a little, may be worth it to try one of these.
I've tried other cases, the Apple Leather one in particular, but keep coming back to similar ones to the Spigen I picked up since they offer decent protection from drops and they aren't as slippery in the hand.

The Spigen Liquid Armour looks sexy. I have the Neo Hybrid on my 6s Plus right now. Wish they made a lipped version of the Air Skin. I love how it looked when I had it briefly. The frosted look compliments the phone very well!
