Yes, i know, this isn't mac or apple related but it kinda is.

I can't connect it to isync. Blah. When do u think apple will released macro updates for isync so it'll work with the new rizr?

Anwho, some pics:


 
Wher'd you get it from? I imagine ther'll be sync updates when it drops on a major network in a country where apple has a major presence (IE Europe, N. America, or Australia).

Congrats on the phone...what is is like? Pros? Cons?
 
the phone was released (if i'm not mistaken) in:
- Germany
- United Kingdom
- Singapore

In the last week. Thats where many of the units come from. I think that's enough mac users in those countries to get apple's attention? Or maybe there's some "bad blood" between moto and apple for moto dropping itunes on its new music playing phones (like this one).

In an event last week in some foreign country, moto clearly states that they do not intend to bring the rizr to the us (which is good for me :D, but not in terms of apple support, haha).

So far the phone is, of course, awesome. I love it. Have been waiting for it ever since moto announced it.

However, there is a software glitch that hopefully moto will fix soon (firmware update). The clock doesn't show on the main screen, even if the option is toggled on or off in the phone's menus. It just wont show.

Obviously it isnt a big deal, but some people use their cellies as their watch, and if the time doesn't display on the main screen, what gives?
 
That looks so sweet! :D

Somehow I think the Apple iPhone will have similar slide-out keypad. Much nicer than the RAZR and the orange ones that you twist or flip and turn.
 
The slide out solution looks ok... but I don't like the black finish. It looks... old and cheap?

I'd prefer the black, just because my current metal model is all scratched up now. This phone looks pretty sweet, so it'll probably be my upgrade unless we see a similar or sweeter iPhone.

Right, but the phone isn't available through rodgers, meaning the SIM card is rodgers, but the phone had to have come from somewhere else.

So it has actually been released for a network then, and not just as an unlocked handset? They must be readily available somewhere because wireless imports has 'em for $350 unlocked. Too bad about the US not getting them, but we still might at some point.

I doubt there is bad blood as the V3i and SLVR still use iTunes...if anything the bad blood would be because Apple is rumored tobe going ahead with their own phone, and presumably cutting Moto out of the deal...

Nice Phone!!!, i'm sure you can sync it via your blue tooth as i do my L6 all the time. I like the phone though looks slick but i'm holding my breath on the moto Q for christmas:D . Any body have one adn want to share the pros and cons (if any).
 
Damn! I hella like that phone, too bad it isn't in the US yet, I'd be all over that one.
 
Do you know if it has OBEX enabled?
IE: Bluetooth File Exchange

Really nice looking; though.

yes it does. it works perfectly with my macbook.

i can also hook it up via usb cable and transfer files at usb 2.0 speeds- i put a lot of stuff on really fast :D
