After i install it what should i do? reset pram/smc and let the battery die out and charge it to calibrate?

At most, it would be good to calibrate the battery. That doesn't involve a PRAM/SMC reset though.

    Follow the instructions here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1490

PRAM/NVRAM has nothing to do with battery/power/charging issues. Resetting it will not help. Only resetting the SMC addresses such issues, but it's not necessary to reset it unless you're having specific problems.

The built-in batteries in the newer Mac unibody notebooks come pre-calibrated and do not require regular calibration like the removable batteries.

This should answer most, if not all, of your battery questions:

You'll note I linked him to the same article, and as the MBP's with the built-in batteries did not come out until Late 2009, I wasn't sure which model he had. ;)
