So I got about $325 for my birthday ...what would you buy with it?
I was going to suggest getting an escort from Craig's List but apparently, Apple has censored that portion of the site.
iPod? maybe some new software? Headphones!!
Hang on, that should not be buried there. It screams for the light of day, in PRSI.
You can most likely get a 20" cinema display for that amount to hook to your MacBook. If not that then maybe more ram, some external space, beer?
Beer? BEER! Always a crowd pleaser!
new screen to hook up to macbook
a buttload of songs
You could buy a musical instrument. I bought an elec. guitar and its the best thing i've ever bought! Next week i will buy a fender stratocaster for 600 !!!! Weeeee
That sounds way too addictive... OP seems to have finite funds.
save ur monehs...seriously, knowing you have cash saved up is a good feeling
When something comes along, that you don't have to ask us, then you have the money to go for it.
Except for the hookers...
My birthdays on Sunday, so I'll probably get close to that amount also.
I'm turning 15, don't have a use for a camera, got a very decent-good computer. (Might get a Mac Mini for my birthday from my parents also ).
Got an iPhone, so no new cell phone.
And I have no idea what to buy.
Ha! forget the hooker idea! maybe save for college? and it just makes me sad to recommend it over hookers....
Update: My dad just sat me down for a pretty serious conversation on how I shouldn't be disappointed if I don't get a computer. He says he wants me to find something reasonable for him to buy me and he'll buy me it- Whether it be clothes, shoes, whatever I want as long as its reasonable. :/
I want a computer. A computer is reasonable. :/. Especially with all the money my parents have.
I smell a MacBook Pro in your future!
Don't tease me!
That'll be the day that my dad OFFERS to buy me a new computer.
I'm almost 15. Never EVER bought a computer that costs over $500 for this family.
Tell 'em its better than hookers! second thought, remind them you are only a hop-skip-and-a-jump from college, and you need to prepare for college with a proper computer!
I would save it. lame I know.
Incase you didn't notice, I'm indian. Meaning my parents are Indian. Meaning they'll find me the cheapest netbook if I needed a computer for college. And then they'd sell my pc to pay for it. And then the netbook will be myonly computer. So I'll have to pay for a macbook if I wanted one.
Not at all - very wise in this climate of austerity.
I'm not sure how to even consider this... but I've always felt that once old enuff, one should live no closer than two states from close relatives. I've followed this rule for many years to great success!...
