Got tethering enabled on my phone - how do I configure it on the mac?

Dear MacRumors, I did a quick search on the forums before posting,... but nothing really did show up - so here goes.

I enabled tethering via some website I visited in Safari Mobile, and found the data for my carrier in Denmark. My iPhone can now tether - wonderful.

How do I set up my mac? When I enable tethering over USB on my phone - my mac tells me Ethernet Adapter (en2) has not been set up, and it says the cable is not plugged in?

When I google this, I get tons of guides on how to setup the iphone... but not on how to configure it on the mac.

Any help? Many thanks

I didn't have to configure anything. It just worked. 😕

oh well - Its still not working for me through USB... but the Bluetooth tethering option just configured itself.

Damn 3G is fast 🙂
