Just got the 3.0.1 update from iTunes. Just starting to play with my 3S after the update.

What's supposed to be new? I don't even know what to look for.

Absolutely no new features, it was issued to patch an SMS bug that could allow the iPhone to potentially be hacked. Nothing else.

Rumour has it that it fixed the battery problem.

The iPhone will always show 100% for a long time, then suddenly drop to 50%....neat trick!

Same ol story, just fixed the sms vulnerability cause it was causing a big commotion.
