Nice bag i'm really interested in Chromes. Can you post a pic of how it fits on your body? I'm thinking that it sits on your back rather than on your side.

Do you think that the Citizen will fit a 15.4" MBP?

A citizen will definitely fit the mbp. My sleeve is 14" x 10.25 and the sleeve for the 15.4 mbp is only 15.5" x 10.5 and my sleeve fits with plenty of room in my Mini Metro which is smaller than the Citizen.
I'll post some pics after I shower and get dressed heh.

The color is less green than it appears on the site. 'Oatmeal' is how they describe it...it's a very slightly greenish grey. Definitely a neutral color. The interior is an orange nylon, but it blends very well and offers a nice contrast.

The sleeve it comes with is slightly large for the MacBook, as it's designed to fit the 15.5 inch MBP. If you take the sleeve out and shake it around, the MacBook has about three quarters of an inch to an inch of space vertically and horizontally. It's more than sufficient to pad the laptop while inside the bag, and unless you shake the sleeve and drop it on the ground a lot it's probably good enough for outside use as well.

STM makes and sells seperate form-fitting sleeves that you can always use if you're worried.
if anyone decided to get this bag but use another sleeve to fit the mac book, would you be interested in selling the original sleeve that fits a powerbook? i really love the included sleeve but they won't sell it to me separately and i already have a nice messenger!

thanks,
matt

I actually wouldn't be opposed to doing a trade if you wanted to buy an STM Macbook sleeve and swap. Don't know if that's worth the money for you, though.

I'm also interested in the citizen bag.
Does the mini metro fit any extra gear besides the laptop?
that one seems too small, but i'm also worried about being able to lug around some text books in the citizen.

You haven't gotten a chance to test out the waterproofing of it yet have you?

And also, while the sleeve is too big for your MB, is it well padded and all that?

yeah I can definitely fit more than just the laptop in my mini metro.
while I have not tested the waterproofing on my bag I have used another Chrome during the rain while on my bike and everything inside was perfectly dry, and it was f'ing pouring outside.
the sleeve is very well padded, I have no worries lugging it around.

I'd also like to see how the mini metro fits. I kind of have a tiny frame and I'm trying to decide between the mini metro and the citizen.

Do you think the mini metro can fit a macbook pro? Because I was reading the other thread replys and it talked about the citizen, but not the mini metro.

I just need a new bag that can fit my computer, text books, and other stuff. I'm just worried that the mini metro may be too small. But at the same time the citizen may be too bulky on my tiny frame.

Crazy question

I'm thinking about getting a MacBook Pro, 15", do you think it'd fit in the mini-metro bags? I mean, I like it, and i'd like it to be snug in my bag, but will it fit? Thanks for your input.

This is a very old thread, but some of the last few questions here went unanswered: mainly, will a 15" Macbook Pro fit into a Mini-Metro Chrome bag. I wanted to know the same things, but the answer definitely seems to be "yes it does". See here and here. In the second link, the author says:

I fit my 15" macbook pro AND my Canon 5D with 35mm f/1.4L lens, with power adapter, and there was still spare room for a change of clothes.
