got the new iMac, video

Had a stock 2009 15" MacBook Pro and running Photoshop CS5 became a chore and often plugins would crash it.

Just got the new 27" iMac, stock $1699 model. Runs Photoshop SO much faster. Made a little video: iMac output to my 46" Vizio tv via Thunderbolt MiniDisplayPort-HDMI adapter. While running Photoshop CS5, ran Topaz Adjust and Alien Skin Exposure...plugins and movie trailer ran smooth, no hiccups, def couldn't do this with my 2009 15" Macbook Pro 😉

Apple salesperson never mentioned it. She did say, "you don't want the better graphics card for extra $100?" I said, "will it help with Photoshop" she said "no mainly for games." I just got the stock model since I don't play games otherwise it'd be online order.

You'll love the 27", IPS screen is amazing. Also speakers are really good, I was very surprised.

its basically you pay a 100 bucks for the printer and then you fill the rebate form and they send u a check for a 100 bucks, no biggie honestly.

I wont take the better graphic card for a 100 bucks either, specially since ill have to do an online order and they wont be available at the store, much rather have it now and enjoy it 😉
