Sign in a business window:

"WE WOULD RATHER DO BUSINESS WITH 1000 AL QAEDA TERRORISTS THAN WITH ONE SINGLE AMERICAN SOLDIER"

This sign was prominently displayed in the window of a business in Philadelphia. You are probably outraged at the thought of such an inflammatory statement. One would think that anti-hate groups from all across the country would be marching on this business... and that the National Guard might have to be called to keep the angry crowds back. But, perhaps in these stressful times one might be tempted to let the proprietors simply make their statement... We are a society which holds Freedom of Speech as perhaps our greatest liberty. And after all, it is just a sign.

You may ask what kind of business would dare post such a sign?

Answer: A Funeral Home
(Who said morticians had no sense of humor?)

Made me laugh :p

whatever message they are trying to say, it's a strange way to say it. You'd think if it was a political message they would be angry at the politicians, not the soldiers.

I live in Philly. Where in Philly is this place?

I'm sorry, but I laughed at this more than I did the original joke.

On further thinking. What rational business man wouldn't want to do business with 1000 people instead of 1?

It just makes sense...

Stick to the joke ;) :p

Mango's got a point there.

I'm definately in the minority here. But i don't find wishing a 1000 people dead is remotly funny. Yes, yes i know it's only a joke. Yes i know they're not good people. But wishing a 1000 people died just isn't funny.

Funny in the same sense that that telephone prank where you pick up a ringing phone and answer "Max's Mortuary. You stab 'em, we slab 'em." is funny. And funny like that Aiwa commercial where the guy driving the herse is listening to "Another One Bites the Dust."
