Gotta love apple " experts"

    They are pretty much all a waste of time. I have asked a few about the iPod touches and they gave me the same robot response....

    I finally got to see an ipod touch in a Best Buy, and I felt like I had to play dumb because I knew so much more than the salesperson (who wan't an idiot, mind you).

    They should just outsource tech support to all the people on these boards, the average regular must be far more knowledgable than their support staff (ok, not Apple store staff, perhaps, but phone support certainly).


    plus, when you get tech support (for any company) in India all they are doing is going through a large program/database of problems and solutions. Whey don't they just make these availible online instead of very limited knowledge base entries. Then again, tech support on the phone doesn't work that often either
