Seriously?

This is no "unique device", it's a $12 Hobbymate HB2622 5000KV brushless motor that's used for Radio Controlled helicopters.

Energy Companies fear a $12 Hobbymate HB2622 5000KV brushless motor that's used for Radio Controlled helicopters? That people will learn how to produce free electricity using this "unique device"?

Omg I hate those ads. The ad agency that makes them is clueless. There are TONS like it:

"Moms hate her"
"Hair stylists hate her"
"Sergeants hate him"
"Trainers hate him"

etc etc I can't tell you how many variations I've seen.

Another common ad meme: "Weird/Old Trick".

"Lose weight fast using this old trick"
"57 yr old mom looks 27 with this weird facial care trick"
etc. ad nauseum.

You'd think no one would be stupid enough to fall for them, but they must be otherwise they wouldn't keep paying for the ad space. I'm guessing often they are links to malware?

Retarded ad but thanx to adblock working together with the built in pop-up blocker i dont think i have seen an ad in the past 2+ years or so... Adblock you rock :D

Meh, personally ads don't bother me too much, sites gotta recoup some of the cost of staying online.

I imagine it's only unsupervised 4-year-olds that click through. Oooh look, fat wobbly belly... <Click>. Oooh look, shiny red thingy... <click>

Yeah, but you're in the UK and probably get served creative local ads that entertain, amuse and inform. Here in the US, it's more like a schitzophrenic freak show.
