Does anyone know if these work with new updates? I sent an email to the store to find out.

This will only work on a 4S that was provisioned for a GSM network. Like AT&T etc. the Verizon and sprint versions (even though they have a gsm radio and sim slot) will not be unlocked or activated with this sim unlock.

Am I correct in this statement?

I hope so cuz I gave up trying to use a sprint 4s with my att sim. As it was said it wasn't possible.

I'm using my GPP SIM with an AT&T iPhone 4S. I think only GSM iPhone 4S can be unlocked.

It won't work with updates. Only 5.0 and 5.0.1.

works only with at&t phones. I got mine in the mail today and it works 🙂 $20 on ebay. bummer there isn't a way to preserve baseband for 4s yet

I think it works with all GSM iPhone 4S, not just AT&T locked units. For other carriers, you need to 'program' the GPP.
