Ever since ios7, when I tell Siri to remind me to do something when I arrive at or leave somewhere, it never works now. At all. I have location services enabled for reminders. Anyone else notice this?

However, there seems to be a cool new feature on this non-functioning service -- it lets me specify the radius within which it determines whether I have arrived at or departed my location. So silver lining? ;-)

Take a look at this thread just about half a page down on the search page of this forum for keyword "reminders:" https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1636563/

What it boils down to is that it appears that the reminders app has to be open in the app switcher and you should see the geo fence GPS icon (outline of a triangle) in your status bar.

Thanks, Tateu. That is remarkably lame for Apple. I'll give it a try.
