A few weeks ago the web was on fire when someone discovered that the new Hotspot feature in 4.3 not only tethered data, but also delivered GPS coordinates when connected to an iPad. Effectively you could use the iPhone as a GPS device for a wifi iPad to get precise location data in the iPad.

Here's one of the articles:
http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-31747_7-20044418-243.html

Anyway, shortly after that there was an article stating that the creators of MyWi confirmed that this would work for MyWi tethering if the device is on iOS 4.3. (see last paragraph here: http://www.jailbreakiphone.biz/ios-4-3-transfers-gps-data-to-tethered-ios-devices.html )

And since Tetherme uses the native hotspot feature, I expected it to work there too. But now that I've updated my iPhone4 to 4.3.1 (obviously jailbroken) I can't get this to work with either MyWi or Tetherme. I tried it in my car and when it did give a position there was no question that it was relying on the Skyhook coordinates, not the iPhone's GPS coordinates. The location was inaccurate, not consistent with the iPhone, and often did not update for minutes.

Anyone get this to work with MyWi or Tetherme?

It does NOT work for me using built-in bluetooth tethering (FROM iPhone 4 on 4.2.1 TO iPad 2).
