is there anyway to reduce the lag, when i play bag there is a pretty good amount of lag and the sound is chopey
 
there is an application in the app store called 'memory free' that lets you free up unused RAM in the iPhone/iPod Touch

and I imagine gpsphone is laggy because of a lack of memory
