Have been searching and downloading various apps all afternoon..only to find they are no good for 10.6.8...and I am not going to 10.7..8 or 9..well did install 10.9 Mavericks on a spare drive...but it is so slow on a 2008 Mac Pro that it is not worth it..
..tried various...xbench..but cant select which graphics card to test...Valley and heaven only work on 10.7 or higher GPUTest..no good either.
I bought this Mac in 2009 with the thought that it would last a few years, do an upgrade and keep it a bit longer...At least MS supports it's OS's for a few years. XP ??? 12 years?? ..only stopping support now...Even the latest Pages won't run on 10.6.8 ...

so any one know of a good gpu testing app that will run on 10.6.8 that will allow me to swap test and compare graphics cards.
