Is it possible to swap GPU's in Vista so i dont have to run on the 9600 all the time in vista (battery time is bad enough in vista as it is,))

And if yes, is it then possible to do it without logout/restart?

im confused.

at the moment you have to switch it in OS X then reboot to vista, and it will stick, I believe. hopefully in an update we will get smoother switching on both OS's

Doesnt seem to work for me. Vista tells me that i am using 9600M gpu, and in OS X i have choosen the 9400M.

Any suggestions on what to do?

There's a simple fix.

Don't use Vista.
Vista is bad as it is, why not use XP?

So it works in XP? unless you know this for sure, i really doubt it.
