I was told they won't have them in stock again until May, what a bummer. Anyone got an extra updated version for sale?

Just wanted to add I'll be on my third replacement. I love this case, but I hope the third time is the charm.

The first one the sleep/wake button fell out. My second, and current, case is starting to wear really quick. They were happy to send me a replacement.

Edit: I have a $30 off Graft Leverage Coupon. If anyone is interested in picking it up off me PM me.

Why would I want to pay anything for a case that I may have to replace 3X? They need some serious R and D.

I just got the second generation matte Grafts bumper and I love it. It's a bit slimmer than the Vapor Pros and Comp. I've previously owned both of those and I just didn't like the bulkiness.

One thing I like is the smooth touch of the material, very comfortable when I hold it in my hand. And I love how the power button is very clicky most of the time on other cases it's usually a bit mushed.

I actually received more compliments on this bumper than any other ones I had before. The volume buttons do need time to get used to which is one reason why I sold my Element Black Ops but that bumper had a lot more other flaws. It's a bit tight with my lucky wraps and at first I was afraid the latch would break when I forced it close. There were a few complaints earlier in this thread on how easily it would break. But their customer service seems to be very responsive and understanding which is why I made the jump to purchase it.

I might get the white matte bumper in the near future whenever it's in stock if they fixed the discoloration problem. It was a good thing I didn't wait to order the black matte because it was sold out just a few days after I ordered. Their facebook page is flooded with comments on when their bumpers would be back in stock.

I'll upload pictures later but I'm also using a Sea Blue Trunket skin with the bumper as well.

Anyone have detailed pics of the updated case, just curious to see what is different ?

Thanks...

I don't have any photos of the updated case, but I came across a Youtube review of it. The link is as follows:

Hope the above link is useful to you. Good luck. :)

I really don't understand why any one would give this post a neg. (I bumped ya back up to 0 lol)

I really like this case but heard it won't work with the glas t and I have one on the way. bummer.

^ I think it's 6.5mm in diameter, according to what I read from someone at Graft. Suffice it to say it was designed to fit the stock apple connector perfectly. If your headphone jack is any bigger, it won't fit. If this is the case, you have two options if you want to use your headphones with the case:

1) buy an extension
2) shave the rubber around your headphone jack to fit (This is what I did. I was going to link a picture but it seems to no longer be available).

For those of you who are looking for different backplates and are also interested in the Trunket, I found a nice little guide on how to turn the Trunket into a removable backplate that you can use with the Graft Leverage. I tried it out and it works like a charm! Now I can enjoy the look of the Trunket without having to have it permanently adhered to my phone.

Looks great i must do this...I already use both as is, but it's a nice idea to have the trunket easily removable...

I love my newly updated leverage case but am kind of disappointed in how fast the soft rubber feel is wearing off. I have only had the case maybe 2 weeks and keep it in my phone in my pocket by itself and am very careful and I already see small parts wear the rubber coating has rubbed off all around the edges. It's easy to see because the light reflects off the glossy plastic underneath :(

Also i have to take the case off in order to connect it with my Alpine deck in my car. The plastic surrounding the dock connector at the bottom is fine with the apple connector, but just a little too much for the alpine connector to lock in.

Still think this case looks the best, especially with my clear backplate!

I've had mine for 6months and that hasn't happened to mine.

Pictures please. And what color do u have?

The Trunket back-plates "cheapen" the look of the iPhone IMO, and take away the beauty of the GC Leverage bumper as well. I never understood the fascination of those wooden back-plates (especially with that stupid elephant logo on the back, LOL).

They'll replace your case if it's falling apart, fyi.

My case is holding up well. You can scratch up the soft touch case with keys and other sharp objects...so be careful. I almost always try to put my phone its own pocket anyways.

Love the case! :D

That's disappointing to hear. I have a 'first revision' case and the rubbery coating started wearing off after a week, even though it was only going in and out of my jeans... no other punishment.

I think the problem lies in a design flaw with the edges of the bumper. If the corner edges were rounded instead of that angled cut, the coating wouldn't be stressed in such a singular manner.
