I had hoped one of the many people there taking pictures and/or video were MR members, as the few low-quality camphone pics I took are rather pathetic.

Overall, there was a lot of enthusiasm on the part of the employees - cheering for people as they entered, clapping, etc.

It took a fair amount of time to go through the t-shirts, and once gone, the long line "mysteriously" vanished. Of course, with so many Apple Stores in the Boston area :D, most people were there only for the shirts. :)

People who weren't there just for the shirts undoubtedly went later after the crowds died down.

that studio idea sounds pretty cool, Apple Sagemore by me doesn't have that..what is it, like a place to do tutorials or is it like a combo of that and a genius bar?

nice pics but who that sexy dude in the blue abercrombie hat in the second to last picture ;)
in the first picture, i was next to that guy waiting online and that's his wife in the background incase anyone cares:rolleyes:

Ahh, the Woodlands Store...

WAIT A MINUTE!

I love how all stores look exactly the same. It's helpful for finding software in a diff. store when you're not in your state. :p

It was nice meeting JSW and PUCKHEAD, but that was 17 hours ago and I was far more sober then!
Definitely fun going to an opening but they had no 3G iPod cases or inCase iPod charger that I was looking for.
I almost got a mac mini, and then realized I could save ~$30-40 by ordering online (no sales tax and free shipping).

more thoughts later, must sleep now....
