Seems a bit pricey. But I've had no experience with it.
All I know is I'm running the Windows version (Steam) just perfectly under Bootcamp on my old iMac.

If I'm reading the details correctlyk, that version has both a mac and a PC version, so that's not an issue.

Regardless, the newest game in that collection (San Andreas) is seven years old. It will run fine on a new MBP.

If i were you, i would go through steam and purchase it through them. If you read forums and even the amazon reviews you can see people complain about the activation problems they are having. Even the cracking community haven't found a key for the torrented version i have ( a waste of 6GB).

lesson learned, always read the comments/reviews for the product/download :D

Either get the Steam version to play on Windows or the Direct 2 Drive version for the Mac. The physical version requires you to keep the disc inside the machine to play the games.

It'll work on Mac OS but if you have Windows installed via BootCamp you can buy it from Steam when it's next on sale.

The current price for Grand Theft Auto Classics (GTA 1, 2, 3, Vice City, and San Andreas) is $29.99 but I bought it on sale about 2 weeks ago for $7.49.

I bought the physical copy and it plays extremely smooth on my late 2010 MBP (Nvida 320m)

Once I get my ACD and such, I can't wait to see how it looks running native on the external 27" monster. It's certain GTA3 and Vice City will look like high resolution crap, San Andreas should look a little better.

All three games are on one DVD and not only is the DVD required to be in the drive when playing, the games also have online activation with your serial number.

I haven't played this on my PC. I have played GTA 5. I'll play the Triology GTA sometime.

Could someone else buy it in another region and then "gift" it to you?

Anyone try this on a X3100 and if so how'd it look and play, also how the DRM on this? I plan on playing this on my Macbook now and putting it on my future iMac a few months down the line.
