My wife's grandfather can't remember is password. He recently decided to rejoin AOL (don't ask me why) but can't install their software for two reasons:
1) His OS is out of date (He needs 10.4.8 and has 10.4.2) and
2) without an Internet connection OR password he can't update the OS OR install AOL.
I seem to remember there was a way to use the terminal to find his admin password. I could be very wrong.
The only other solution I can this is to back up all his stuff (there isn't much), wipe his HD and reinstall Tiger from scratch. I brought his mini home with me so I have everything I need to do that, but I'd rather not.
