Hi guys i'm suffering a graphic card issue here

Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024 MB

macbook pro retina late 2012

since the beginning my macbook completely freezes 2 times a month without a reason.

Now since the update to osx yosemite, i've got a graphic card issue popup

and when I watch movies it just jams like 20 times per movie, super irritating

software issue or send it back to apple?

Getting a screenshot of the associated error might be helpful. If it only occurs while doing a certain task, it sounds more software/firmware related.

It was a one time error pop-up :' to help apple improve their software click send'

Boot into your recovery partition and try repairing the disk.

I don't think it's a hardware issue.

It sounds like you are having the same issue is me. I have a 2012 rMBP and have been freezing about twice a month. The screen goes black when it freezes. I don't get a GPU error message but I do get the error report screen sometimes. My mac now either doesn't detect the nvidia 650gt or detects it and randomly goes black. My thinking is that our freezes happen when the laptop automatically switches to the nvidia 650gt

do you already have a solution? mine is now in repair, but after a week they didn't even checked on it, so still no info

Some 2012s seem to be having graphics problems. My 2012 was replaced because of the same thing "A Graphics error was detected".

No sorry. I am in Australia for a month. I am going to take it in when I get back to the states.
