Can the video card be swapped out on my 4.1?

I ask because I cannot reach full resolution of 1680 x 1050 when I hook-up my Dell Ultrasharp 2209WA monitor; it only will go to 1280 x 800 display.

Can I get a card to fit this computer, or at least one that will give higher resolution ?

No, you cannot. Although, do you have the displays mirrored? If so, turn off mirroring.

Nope the X3100 i have the same mac has a non-replacable graphics card because its soldered to the logic board
