Are there any apps out there that can monitor the temperature of your video card?

I have Temperature Monitor installed but that only gives me readings for my CPU and my HDDs.

    Thanks. :)

    Hmm, nothing here.

Macbook Pro has some "enclosure" temperatures and a "heatsink B" but nothing about GPU.

Have you selected it in the preferences?

    The option isn't there.

On my desktop (Hackintosh) I can conclude it's probably because it is a Hackintosh.

But my Macbook Pro still doesn't have the option for it...

You're saying it's not an option in Preferences? What version of iStat Pro do you have?

    Version 4.92.

Just downloaded it (the iStat Pro Widget) from their website.

Can you post your preferences pane?

There is no perference pane for it, as I only installed the widget. I'm guessing I should of grabbed the full app then. I'll DL now.

EDIT; But here it is anyway for fun. :)

    Lol..

No, in the widget, you click the "i" in the top left corner to access preference settings. I'm not talking about your System Preferences. I'm talking about iStat Pro preferences.

Underneath "CPU Heatsink" is just "Northbridge", which is checked.

And it's just about the same in my Macbook Pro. Nothing for GPU temps.

Have you used gfxCardStatus to manually select your integrated GPU? It's strange that GPU isn't even showing up. You might also try restarting your Mac. I'm not addressing your Hackintosh, as all bets are off with that. I'm only interested in your MBP.

Heh, a restart on my desktop gave me an option for my built-in serial port under Network, but no GPU option.

A restart on my MBP did nothing either.

Are there any other apps that can monitor GPU temperature apart from iStat? I heard something along the lines of Zeus or something like that.

I'll have to try any other solutions in a couple hours (movie time!). By the way thanks very much for the help. I'll monitor this thread on my mobile.

I've heard of Zeus, but I don't know anything about it. I've not heard of your problem with iStat Pro before. Something is definitely off.

GGJstudios, I too, have a macbook pro that only has one integrated graphics card (9400m) The OP, has the 320m. On my iStat pro I do not have the option to see my temperature. I guess the integrated graphics cards do not have a heat sensor?

Ahh, that's it. The OP didn't say which MBP model they have. Naturally, the integrated graphics wouldn't have a separate temp from the CPU.
