Graphics Card Problem?

I have then new Santa Rosa 2.2ghz Macbook pro. I think I have an issue, but I'm not sure what to make of it. When running any type of game, even really less demanding ones, I get creases occassionally in the screen that look like this

It's kind of like horizontal lines shifting and distorting the image. Is this a problem with the graphics card or the macbook pro? Is it driver related? Has anyone else experienced this?

any help would be greatly appreciated!

In some games it's like a wave runs up the screen as well.
