Any suggestions?

Reflash with WHAT? It won't work at all.

Seven cards work in the Mac Pro.

If you read the post, i'm guessing he has a Dual Core G5 with a Quadro 4500. He will need to flash with the Mac Pro version of the Quadro 4500 ROM.

The G5 version will already have a 128K chip, so no problem there.

On your list'o'seven:

If on the other hand he means he used it on an EFI 32 1,1 or 2,1 Mac Pro and he wonders why it won't work on a EFI 64 3,1 Mac Pro, he is merely OUT OF LUCK as the Q4500 is actually a G70 based card and it is VERY doubtful that Apple/Nvidia will write a ROM for such an old core on athe newer machines. In this case he should sell on Ebay and get a QUadro 5600 or one of the other upgrades. (3870 or 8800GT)
