Hey guys,

Are they are benefits of using more Graphic card RAM on Final Cut Studio ? Also, can I upgrade the internal graphics card on the MacBook Pro via the express card slot ?

More graphics ram will give you better performance in Motion. I'm running FCS on my Macbook with absolutely no problems, (except motion just doesn't work because of the integrated graphics chip).

More VRAM helps run OS X CoreImage and Quartz Extreme effects, but this is hardly if at all noticable. Motions does benefit from more VRAM, but not as much as from more system RAM and higher GPU clocks
