I was in the exact same position. I first picked up the Graphite and loved it, but I have been wearing SBSS for years and it was a little too similar. The natural Ti kept calling my name, so I decided to pick that one up as well.

I knew I was keeping the titanium as soon as it was on my wrist. It’s just such a gorgeous watch, I can’t stop looking at it. It’s the perfect combination of premium and understated that I was looking for, and it looks amazing with every band I have. For me, it’s the titanium hands down. The fact that I can remove any scratches with a cheap pad from the drugstore makes it even better (although I’ve been wearing it for nearly a week now and it’s still looking flawless).
My titanium is perfect after a year. They aren’t as delicate as some here would believe

Graphite went back to the apple store today. Titanium FTW.

I think shiny silver band lugs didn’t go with graphite as well as with Ti. Decide based on your favorite bands?

I’m not trying to single you out, but The whole ‘lugs’ Matching is so trivial and shouldn’t play a factor. And this is coming from someone that pairs bands that doesn’t match the casing and it’s hardly noticeable. If the lugs are slightly different in shade or finish, does it really matter. (<— That’s rhetorical by the way.)

Even though I disagree, titanium is edition model and charger is included + 1 year extra warrenty.
And an extra sport band!

But, you know, there really isn't any price difference between Ti and SS. Ti is bundled with extras to cover the extra $100 over SS - but that's about it. Apples to apples - it's a wash.

Me? I found that graphite goes really well with the silver and black bands I already have - so that made the decision for me.

The decision is really not which metal? It's which finish you prefer. AL, SS an Ti are all silver metals and they could all be finished indestinguishably. The rest is just marketing fluff.

What does edition model stand for? what does it mean?

Limited Edition. Exclusivity. High end. High cost. Market segmentation, basically.

That's how "Edition" got started - when the Watch was first launched. Edition prices were significantly higher than SS. Heck there were solid 14K gold Edition watches (in the $$$ thousands) supposedly for general sale. Not that I ever saw one outside an Apple store display case.

Today the Edition price differential is $100 above the SS with a bundle of "extras" thrown in to justify the difference. So no difference really.

Thank you for the explanation. you are appreciated.

The titanium watches look almost like the aluminium ones and they don't have the consistent, the glass matching glossy look. Also I see the sturdy coating of the graphite as a +…
