I just noticed this why my computer was booting up today because its only visible against a white background, but there is some grey textures in the lower right hand corner of my display that resemble the strands of a carpet, in that they are fine lines that do not go straight up, but curve.

The other thing it kind of looks like is frost. Anyways, anyone know what this is and if I can do anything about it?

What Mac are you referring to? Can you supply any pictures?
On a aluminum iMac it could be dust behind the glass which protects the LCD panel.
