yes, I tried buying it online but it wouldnt accept both coupons so I went into a best buy by my house and started asking about the new rMB just to make small talk with the supervisor and then I showed him both coupons and he said I could use them but the rMB was backordered and then I pointed at the MBA (which is what i originally wanted to buy) and said how about this one instead, so he got the computer and rung me up and apply both coupons plus my reward certificate.

I already own a rMBP 15" mid 2015 which is being repaired at the moment, so I really needed a computer for work purposes, and man... this computer is so light, I'm actually thinking of keeping the rMBP at home and using this as my work computer.

That's what I'm doing, but with the 11".

15" retina stays home (mainly used for audio recording/windows) while my 11" is the day-to-day laptop.

Works well except for the huge sense of guilt about wasting money on two laptops.

Student discount: Google it, you need an .edu email

or you can buy a movers coupon off eBay for about $5. Depending on your time and the closest post office that could be cheaper/faster.

wow, did you get any other discounts? the 11' base mba only had a $45 discount which brought the price down to $854.99... and the 13' base had a $200 discount which brought the price down to 799 and then i applied all my coupons.

OR - you can go to usps . com and pay the $1.00 for the change of address, then get the movers coupon instantly....

I had $500 in rewards points haha. I use a best buy credit card and pay it off instantly. I get my elite plus bonus points and credit card bonus points. No joke, I buy something for $100 and get $25 back b.c the elite plus/credit card combo.
