Apple seems to have quite a few of these refurbished I don’t know why though anyone know ? Also would Apple do an SSD on one ?

Quite a few is likely a relative term. But lots of reasons: returns or forecast mismatches the most likely. Refurb units are available as they are. without customization from Apple. There is an SSD on this one - it's a fusion drive. If you mean SSD only, then you'll need to see if a unit so equipped comes along. Or, modify this one after you get it.

Did you copy and paste the spec sheet from the Apple website?

Yes why ? Price was $1949 for it I called Apple and they kept me hanging on when asked if they would upgrade the HD to a SSD so I went to BB and asked the Apple employee and he said no they won’t
Probably going to order one through apples site to my specs

Well, your post wasn't overly clear on what you were talking about/asking and I don't think the copied specs sheet was necessary. That's all my comment pertained to. As you were. :)

Insofar as Apple refurbished items go, Apple WILL NOT "upgrade" them.
What they have available, is what they sell.

If you want one with an SSD in it, then BUY ONE with an SSD it.

I would STRONGLY advise you NOT to buy ANY Mac with a fusion or HDD in it, if what you want is an SSD.
Do that, and you're going to be disappointed.

The SSD does not have to be large. You can always plug in additional storage via USB3.
